Email Marketing

Email marketing can be a very effective marketing tool when used correctly. Emails are and extremely cheap form of communicating to large numbers of clients but many people can be put off by the idea of being considered spam. The aim of any good email marketing campaign is to provide useful information that the recipient will actually want to read. Provided emails you send are useful and interesting and are not sent too often you will not be considered as spam.

If you start to reach the stage where you have quite a list of emails on your marketing list you may have to start looking at email marketing software as even genuine emails will get caught in spam filters if they are sent to too many people at once. Some email marketing software will allow you to set a email design template allowing to you use your emails to communicate that brand image in the same way a website design does. For many clients you do not actually see them for months at a time and email marketing allows to keep in contact them, reminding them you are there and possibly highlighting things they may want to come and see you about. Another aspect of email marketing software is that they can also track parts of the email eg how many people clicked on a link within the email.

Another good way to combine email marketing with your website is to use a blog. Creating really good blog content and periodically emailing everyone in your email marketing list with the latest blog articles enables you to add really good content to your website and for your email marketing at once.
